A SUSTAINABLE BLUE ECONOMY is a marine-based economy that provides social and economic benefits for current and future generations by contributing to food security, poverty eradication, livelihoods, income, employment, health, safety, equity, and political stability.
It Restores, protects, and maintains the diversity, productivity, resilience, core functions, and intrinsic value of marine ecosystems—the natural capital upon which its prosperity depends.
It is based on clean technologies, renewable energy, and circular material flows to secure economic and social stability over time, while keeping within the limits of one planet. It is governed by public and private processes that are Inclusive, Well-informed, precautionary and adaptive, Accountable and transparent, Holistic, cross-sectoral, and long-term, Innovative and proactive.
This year’s conference will be centered around TVET sector and how it can drive the sustainable blue economy.

The conference committee would like to invite authors to submit papers on the specific sub-themes and others that fall within the scope of the conference. However, papers to be presented in this conference must have not been presented, accepted or published elsewhere.
Papers submitted will go through a double-blinded review process with final proceedings with ISBN indexed in Google Scholar, Scopus and Thompson Reuters.
