About The Event
World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development (WED) was proclaimed by UNESCO in November 2019 at its 40th General Conference.
This year’s event will highlight the key role played by engineers from all over the world in advancing the United Nations 2030 Agenda of Sustainable Development Goals.
