Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

The department has three main sections, namely:
  • Electrical Power
  • Telecommunication
  • Mechatronics
The courses offered at the department are at Artisan, Craft Certificate, Diploma and Higher National Diploma examined by the Kenya National Examination Council(KNEC)  and Curriculum Development Assessment and Certification Council (CDACC). Most of our programs are offered in Full-time and some in part-time and evening/weekends. The department has thirty five trainers, four technicians and a population of over 900 trainees. We have fully embraced the modular syllabus for both certificate and Diploma courses in Electrical Engineering and the Competent-Based Education and Training (CBET) for both level 4, 5 and 6 in Electrical Engineering
